Gyldenpris Kunsthall

Gyldenpris Kunsthall is an arena for production and display of art across various disciplines, focusing on the creative freedom and artists’ possibilities to create new works. Gyldenpris Kunsthall offers excellent facilities and possibilities through studios, workshops, and exhibition halls.

Gyldenpris Kunsthall is a continuation and further development of Bergen Kjøtt — a unique project and art venue that BCAP initiated in 2009 and operated until 2020. July 2023 Gyldenpris Kunsthall moved to its new location in Hop, Bergen/Norway.

Since opening in Gyldenpris in 2020, we have worked with artists like Lesia Vasylchenko, Thomas Pihl, Kobie Nel, Maria Pasenau, Bjørn Mortensen, Karoline Hjorth & Riitta Ikonen, Tonje Bøe Birkeland, Ulla Schildt, Marie Sjøvold, Anja Carr, Unni Askeland and Bjarne Melgaard.

Confirmed artists for 2024-26 includes Anders Holen, Elina Brotherus and Yngve Holen.

Gyldenpris Kunsthall is divided in two main divisions; GK—main and GK—Platform, as well as their subdivision; BK Publishing that publishes books and publications related to the various production and activities at Gyldenpris Kunsthall.
