Maria Paseneau (b. 1994, Mjøndalen) is a Norwegian artist based in Odda (Norway). While primarily working with photography — Paseneau also experiments with sound and three-dimensional art. Pasenau studied at the Norwegian School of Photography in Trondheim, and has exhibited in several widely acclaimed galleries and art museums, such as K4 Gallery, New Galerie, Kristiansand Kunsthall, The Norwegian National Museum and Akershus Kunstsenter, and has performed at the Photo Gallery, OCA—Office of Contemporary Art Norway and the Mushroom Performance Art Festival. She is one of the youngest artists ever to have been acquired for the Norwegian National Museum's permanent collection.
